We treat a variety of mental illnesses in our residential housing setting, including Schizo-Affective Disorder, Major Depression, Bipolar Disorder, Schizophrenia , as well as those who are dually diagnosed with a mental illness and substance abuse.
Our psycho-social rehabilitation programs include anger management, substance abuse & med management.
Decatur Manor Healthcare provides 24 hour, 7 day a week crisis intervention, assessment and admission service. Our staff of registered nurses, certified nursing assistants, case managers, consulting psychologists and physicians provide confidential assessments and care plans for psychiatric behavioral problems.
Our goal is to assist residents in the development of positive behaviors and skills needed in order for successful functioning while allowing them to live as independently as possible in the community.
All residents at Decatur Manor Healthcare have a primary diagnosis of a Mental Illness. The diagnosis of our residents prevents them from living independently without the supportive services and programs of a nursing facility. Our psychiatric rehabilitation programs offer residents the opportunity to manage their illnesses in an environment less restrictive and less expensive than state hospitals.
Decatur Manor Healthcare is not a locked facility, but rather a monitored facility. We are committed to providing independent living in a more normalized environment that contributes to an improved quality of life for all our residents.
